We’re looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join the team at our East Anglia Clinical Well-Being Hub, to be based primarily at Bramfield House Education and Residential Services in Suffolk.  Someone with a holistic and integrated approach to care, education and clinical services would be perfect for this role. 

About the school 

Bramfield Education and Residential Services supports young people with a history of complex trauma or diagnosis of high functioning autism, ADHD or attachment difficulties.  

The role

The Speech and Language Therapy role is an exciting and specialist clinical role, covering multiple sites in a geographical operating region across residential care, education and fostering.  We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic clinician excited by working within times of transformative change.   

The successful applicant will work within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures and support the integration of their specific service in the day to day running of each provision i.e. standardised assessments and clinical services. A key aspect of the role will be to deliver informed interventions at a universal, targeted and specialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our children, young peoples and adult’s needs in line with set Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). 

Requirements

  • Speech and Language Therapist with an active HCPC registration   
  • Experience within the specialist client group. (complex communication issues relating to autism, including language disorder, dyspraxia, sensory impairment, learning disabilities/difficulties and associated challenging behaviour) 
  • Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred. Newly qualified candidates will be considered.
