Location: Calcott Assesment Centre, Shrewsburry.
Salary: £ 22,404 - £31,851 dependent on experience (Trainee or Qualified)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for an Assessment Centre Teacher or Trainee Teacher to join our fantastic team at BMC- Calcott near Shrewsbury. As Teacher or Trainee Teacher , you will support our Teachers to take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.
This is a great opportunity for a Teacher who is looking to start or continue their career in Education and is motivated to inspire learning in children with varied and complex needs. Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
Educated to level 3 (Trainee) or of Qualified Teacher Status ,you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.
About us:
Smallbrook School is an SEMH specialist provision which caters for up to 50 students working in groups of up to 3 students per class from 7 - 18 years of age. The role is based at the Calcott Assessment Centre on the outskirts of Shrewsbury which caters for 4 students.
