Salary:                    £18,000.00 per annum

Hours:                    37.5 hours per week, Term time plus 4 weeks

Contract:                Permanent, Term Time only plus 4 weeks

We are looking for an experienced Personal Development and Careers Co-ordinator to join our fantastic team at Reddish Hall School, Stockport. As a Personal Development and Careers Co-ordinator, you will ensure the careers education is delivered in accordance with the up to date and relevant guidance and oversee educational visits across the school in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.

This is a great opportunity for a Personal Development and Careers Co-ordinator who wants to creative opportunities for children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN/ASC environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.

Educated to Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.

Reddish Hall School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 5 to 18, catering for children with social emotional and mental health difficulties, with a high proportion of children who have a diagnosis of ASC.  Our dedicated team work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.
