Do you love teaching? Do you love teaching Maths? Do you want to have the autonomy to create fun, exciting and engaging lessons for children with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) challenges? Longdon Hall School is looking for innovative thinkers who can create new and encapsulating ways of teaching the Maths curriculum to our students.

We are looking for a creative, active and open-minded Maths Teacher to join our family feel team at Longdon Hall. You must have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds and behaviours. We are looking for candidates, who want to get involved, have their ideas heard and who are resilient and caring. If you are an NQT, we are also happy to receive your application. Ideally, you will be a creative thinker and be able to turn the core maths curriculum into a fun and engaging subject. Previous experience SEMH isn’t essential but it is preferred and if you have no experience, please research Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and the challenges it presents.

Longdon Hall School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 7 to 18, catering for children with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our dedicated team, work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.

The established staff team come from a variety of backgrounds and have individual skills, which can be utilised, within this school. We have a multidisciplinary team including clinicians who you will be able to learn off and collaborate with in order to achieve the best outcomes possible for our children,.
