Role:                    Therapy Assistant  

Location:             Crouch End, London and Oxford Region 

Salary:                £18,610- 23, 853  

Contract:            FULL TIME /TERM TIME ONLY (39 weeks per year)

This is an exciting, new opportunity for a Therapy Assistant to join our Kestrel House School, based on Crouch End London .  An ideal opportunity for those who would be excited by creating a nationally important resource with the substantial backing of a leading provider of education and care for children, young people, and adults with complex needs. 

About the Role 

You will be responsible for supporting the in house clinicians to provide therapeutic intervention to the students. You will also be responsible for supporting the clinical team with administration tasks.  It is an exciting opportunity to work with our specialist in house clinical team and be supported by the wider clinical hub team compromising of clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and therapy assistants.  

Who we are looking for? 

We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Therapy Assistant.  Someone with a holistic and integrated approach to care, education and clinical services would be perfect for this role.  

You would need to demonstrate drive, motivation and resilience and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams. Applicants must have;

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s including English at Grade C or above
  • Commitment to the values of the organisation
  • Ability to work within the boundaries of the role of Therapies Assistant as agreed in supervision 
  • Effective communication and writing skills
