Do you have experience as a CQC/ CIW inspector, or as a Manager running an Outstanding CQC provision?  If so, we would like to hear from you.  We are currently seeking a Freelance Auditor to support our adult services provision.  We offer a competitive daily rate / consultancy basis.

We are Options Autism, part of Outcomes First Group certified Great Place to Work for the past 2 years running and leaders within education and care.  For 16 years we’ve been providing specialist care for adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.  We are now seeking a Freelance CQC / CIW auditor to support our adult services team.  Our portfolio of nationwide Adult care homes are some of the very best in England and Wales.  As part of our approach to maintaining and developing high quality provision, we undertake a range of internal reviews of all our care homes.

We are looking for those with previous experience as a CQC/ CIW inspector, or a Manager with experience of working to outstanding CQC standards to support adult services South as a Freelance Assessor. 

You will undertake quality assurance visits to our care homes in the south of England, specifically our services based in West Sussex, with an additional home in Hillingdon plus some remote working.  You will provide advice and support whilst also challenging and guiding the teams to help us maintain our high quality provision. You will plan and undertake reviews and write short and sharp focussed reports of those reviews. Most importantly, you must be able to mentor and coach our managers and you should be able to identify excellent practice and aspects that could be improved further.

Those with experience as either an experience Manager from within a CQC outstanding provision or previous CQC / CIW inspectors would be ideal.  We are looking for someone with experience of inspecting specialist provisions, to support our senior leaders in implementing this model.  Ideally, you will have experience of inspecting care homes and it would be preferable (not essential) to have previous experience and knowledge within autism and learning disabilities.
