Job Title: Site and Facilities Manager

Location:         Barton School, Barton Upon Humber

Salary:              £22,000 to £26,000 per annum

Hours:              37.5 per week

Contract:          Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Site and resources Manager to join our fantastic team at Barton School. As a Site and Facilities Manager, you will ensure our site is clean and safe in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.

This is a great opportunity for a Site and Facilities Manager who wants to influence the outcomes for children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

Whilst previous experience of working in a Residential School would be desirable, excellent organisational skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.

Educated to GCSE English and Maths, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have experience in line managing facilities support staff, contractors, Health and Safety and COSHH Regulations as well as motivated to helping every child to reach their potential.

Barton School is a DfE registered school and OFSTED rated children’s home offering a purpose-built service specially designed to meet the educational and development needs of the children in our care. We provide care to children and young people with autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and associated difficulties. Based in Barton Upon Humber, North Lincolnshire, we are within easy reach of Barton, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Hull and surrounding towns.

For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
