Can you enrich the lives of young people as a Deputising Team Leader?

We are looking for a caring, responsible, experienced Deputising Team Leader  to join our fantastic team at The Meadows, Wolverhampton. As Deputising Team Leader , you will lead a team of Support Workers who care for our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Our Deputising Team Leaders carry out an essential and varied role, leading a team to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the children and young people in our care. You will design, implement and monitor the care and education plans to meet the individual needs of our children and young people, ensuring that key life and independent skills are achieved in the enriching and positive environment we strive to create.

When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a (insert job title) with previous experience of managing teams in a residential care setting, who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Already qualified with Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent, you will be a calm, engaging, resilient leader, with experience in supporting and leading a team, diligent with quality and compliance, and motivated to bring your experience to a team that is passionate about providing a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.

The Meadows is a 2 bedded Ofsted children’s home offering care and support to children aged 7-18 years with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Located in a rural setting, situated in Wolverhampton, The Meadows provides a caring, structured and homely environment for our children. The home is supported by a specialist independent DfE registered school that provides our residents a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment to support their personal and academic needs. We are within commuting distance of Coven, Weston-under-Lizard, Cannock, Great Wyrley, Walsall, Dudley and other surrounding towns and villages.
