Role:                    Senior Psychologist / Psychotherapist

Location:            The Wenlock School, Dudley

Salary:                £49,000 – £52,000 (Pro Rata)

Contract:            Term Time only

 

Are you a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling or Forensic) or Senior Psychotherapist with pre or post qualification experience in working with children who may have Social, Emotional & Mental Health difficulties, Autism, complex needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the multi-disciplinary clinical team within The Wenlock School.

About the Role

You will work as part of our specialist multi-disciplinary clinical team (SaLT, OT, Psychological services) within a school setting. Multi-professional working is essential to our aim to provide a high-quality service that promotes the wellbeing and interests of the children and young people it supports.

You will be responsible for providing individual, specialist assessments and carrying out informed interventions to meet the therapeutic needs of our children and young people at a universal, targeted and specialist level. The role also encompasses staff consultation, training and reflective practice.  Collaborative working with school staff and integration of therapy support within the day to day running of schools is a key part of this role.

We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic clinician; someone with a holistic and integrated approach to education and clinical services would be perfect for this role.

Appropriate professional registration with the relevant body and experience of working with children and young people required.

A driving license and car are essential.
