Salary: £20,800 to £21,840 plus £45 per sleep

We are looking for responsible, caring individual to join our fantastic team at The Moorlands as a Children's Support Worker. As the Children's Support Worker, you will support our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Our Children's Support Workers carry out an essential and varied role to develop independent life skills and provide the bespoke, therapeutic support required by the children and young people in our care. You will support, mentor, and educate our children in day-to-day activities to develop emotional and social needs, and help them develop practical skills to enhance or enable independent living.
When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for Children's Support Workers who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Your previous experience of working with young people in an SEMH environment will be invaluable as you positively engage with our children, providing structured, consistent care and development.
Already qualified to or willing to work towards your NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, able to work the required shifts, and be motivated to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
The Moorlands is an Ofsted registered specialist 3 bed residential children’s assessment home specifically designed to meet the needs of young girls & boys, age 7-18 years, with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. Located in a rural setting, situated close to Stoke on Trent, The Moorlands provides a caring, structured, and homely environment for our children. We are within commuting distance of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Hanley, Tunstall, Stafford, Crewe, Macclesfield and other surrounding towns and villages. Please note we do require a Full UK driving license for this role.
