Job Title: Pastoral Assistant

Salary: Upto £19,000 per annum 

Plus responsibility allowance £2000

Contract: Fixed Term, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Pastoral assistant for a fixed term, who, to join our close-knit team at Bramfield House in Halesworth, Suffolk. If you are looking to join a dedicated team in a school that will welcome your ideas and aim to re-engage the young people we teach, we would like to hear from you.

We need highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who want to make a real difference. We want people who will go above and beyond to make a difference for each young person and most importantly someone who cares and is compassionate.

Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN environment would be desirable, excellent support skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important. We need people who share our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Experience in behaviour management and social development is preferred but not essential as we will train, support and promote you to ensure you have an amazing career. All you need is the drive to make a difference and a focus on the positive outcomes for our children and the right personality.

This role however, does come with some potential challenges, behaviour management is essential because you will be working on the front line with young people who can find life challenging. You will need to be mentally and physically fit and resilient.
