Position: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £15,500

Location: Crookhey Hall School, Lancaster

This isn’t like your everyday mainstream teaching assistant role! We are looking for creative, active and open-minded Teaching Assistants, to join our family feel team. You must have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds and behaviours. We are looking for candidates, who want to get involved, have their ideas heard, want to help within core and vocational subjects and who are caring. Previous experience with SEBD isn’t essential but it is preferred. If you have no experience, please research SEBD and the challenges it may present. As part of a national company, we have clear career pathways and can support you in your journey to become a Teacher or further!

Crookhey Hall School is a Social. Emotional & Mental Health (SEBD) School which caters for boys and girls aged 10 - 17 years of age. We provide young people with an educational experience that will not only extend their academic and vocational social skills and abilities, but will also promote personal growth and help to build self-esteem. In this way it is hoped that each individual will aspire to achieve their full potential, eventually leaving school with the determination to make a positive contribution to society in the years to come.

We want each young person at Crookhey Hall to achieve their own ambitions and to live fulfilling and productive lives. We want you to encourage each individual to achieve their potential and dream big, despite of any challenges you or they may face. This can be achieved by our multi-disciplinary team all working together in the best interest of the young person.
