Position: Administrator

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £17,550 - £22,425 (dependant on experience and qualifications)

Contract: Permanent

Location: Greater Horseshoe School, Newton Abbot

Are you organised and meticulous? A great communicator? Do you want to share your ideas to create a fun, exciting and engaging school for Autistic children? The Greater Horseshoe School is looking for a proactive thinker who can help keep the school organised, engage with the Schools stakeholders and perform any administration duty required for the running of the School.

The students could be working on the farm, fixing or making things in the workshops or be in the classrooms. We are looking for an Administrator to be organised and thorough, amongst the bustling corridors. The successful candidate may collate and report on data, oversee the complete education administration process, assist with recruitment, support with referrals and at all times, be an ambassador for the School.

Previous experience with a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School and as a school administrator is not essential but it is preferred. If you have no experience, please research Autism and the challenges it presents. If you can demonstrate transferrable skills, we would love to hear from you!

The Greater Horseshoe School is a relatively new, large site surrounded by trees and flanked by a tranquil river and farmland. We have grown rapidly to support, currently, 41 young people, aged 7-18 Each child has individual needs based on communication and sensory challenges, which are associated with autism and we support them using a bespoke curriculum and the THRIVE approach.
