Salary:              £18,720 to 19,760 per annum (£9.00- £9.50ph) plus £45 per sleep in 

Hours:              40 hours per week

We are looking for responsible, caring people to join our fantastic team at New Villa at High Onn as a Children's Care Worker. As a Children's Care Worker, you will support our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Our Children's Care Workers carry out an essential and varied role to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the children and young people in our care. You will chaperone the children to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips to the zoo, complete relevant paperwork, deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, and where appropriate administer medication.

When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Children's Care Worker, who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Previous experience in a care setting would be great but isn’t essential as full training will be given, and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important. These roles are ideal for people working in customer facing industries including retail, hospitality and leisure, looking for a new role that makes a real difference to children’s lives and futures.

Already qualified to Level 3 Diploma Children's workforce is desirable butwilling to work towards your Level 3, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, able to work the required shifts, and be motivated to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.

New Villa is a 6 bed home, which helps support Children aged between 7-18 who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and additional complex behaviours. New Villa is linked with 13 other residential homes and aligned to a main school called Hillcrest Shifnal School. New Villa is located in High Onn.
