Salary: £18,720 - £19,760 per year (£9.00 - £9.50 per hour)
Hours: 40 per week (9pm - 7am, 4 days on - 4 days off)

We are looking for responsible, caring people to join our fantastic team at Ashley Lodge, Tadley as Waking Night Support Worker. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will support our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Our Waking Night Support Worker carry out an essential and varied role to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the children and young people in our care. When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker, who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Previous experience in a care setting would be great but isn’t essential as full training will be given, and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important. These roles are ideal for people working in customer facing industries including retail, hospitality and leisure, looking for a new role that makes a real difference to children’s lives and futures.
Already qualified to or willing to work towards your NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, able to work the required shifts, and be motivated to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
Ashley Lodge is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ registered independent children’s home offering residential care for children & young people aged 7-18 years with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. The 6 bedded home, set in a rural location in North Hampshire, offers a holistic model of care and education for the residents, which is designed to provide an enriching and positive environment.
Ashley Lodge is within commutable distance from Reading, Basingstoke, Newbury, Slough and other surrounding towns and villages.
