Can you enrich the lives of young people as a Deputy Team Leader in a Children’s Residential Care Setting?

We are looking for a caring, responsible, Deputy Team Leader to join our fantastic team at Bramfield House School in Halesworth, Suffolk. As Deputy Team Leader you will help lead a team of Support Workers who care for our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Our Deputy Team Leaders carry out an essential and varied role, supporting in leading a team to provide the individual, bespoke support required by the children and young people in our care. You will help design, implement and monitor the care and education plans to meet the individual needs of our children and young people, ensuring that key life and independent skills are achieved in the enriching and positive environment we strive to create.

When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Deputy Team Leader who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world. Previous management experience would be great, but we would also like to hear from experienced Residential Care Workers taking your first steps into a management role.

Already qualified with Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, diligent regarding quality and compliance, and motivated to bring your experience to a team that is passionate about providing a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.

Located in rural Suffolk, Bramfield House School is an independent residential special educational needs school for boys aged 7 – 16 years who have social, emotional, mental health, communication difficulties and associated challenging behaviours.
