Hours:                    40 hours per week with a minimum of one sleep per week

We are looking for responsible, caring people to join our fantastic team in Sheffield as Senior Residential Childcare Worker. As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, you will support our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Our Senior Residential Childcare Workers carry out an essential and varied role to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the children and young people in our care. You will lead children in activities, complete relevant paperwork, deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, and where appropriate administrate medication.

When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Already qualified to NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, able to work with emotional needs and challenging behaviour, and be motivated to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.

 

About us:

Our beautiful, homely residential setting in Sheffield provides 24/7 care for young people with Learning Disabilities (LD) for up to three children. These young people may have ADHD, Autism or any related challenges. Each child has their own room which they decorate to their individual tastes and cater for their requirements. The children could display a variety of challenges and be verbally or physically aggressive. Therefore, we are looking for enthusiastic and caring people to help make a difference to these children regardless of the challenges you may be faced with.
