About the Hub:

The hub will be delivering wellbeing and clinical services to 7 schools and 3 fostering agencies across the North West. The hub is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Psychotherapists. The hub will work closely with the schools and fostering services to deliver effective universal strategies and ensure comprehensive staff training, as well as group based and individual assessment and interventions sessions.

About the Role:

The Wellbeing Services Co-Ordinator (WSC) is a specialised operational senior management role and may cover multiple sites in a geographical operating region across fostering, care and education.

The key objectives for the WSC are:

  • Coordinate and deliver clinical / wellbeing services for young people and adults, aligned with each provisions completed needs audit.
  • Coordinate and monitor specialist & targeted services / assessments being delivered across the three divisions ensuring alignment with the OFG wellbeing and clinical service project.
  • Management of budget and review service delivery in liaison with the National Wellbeing Manager, related to wellbeing / clinical services to ensure best value in terms of impact / outcomes for young people and adult
  • The WSC’s will help ensure that stated needs on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP’s) and LAC Care Plans are being met and delivered across the three divisions.
  • The WSC will support service delivery and operations in line with the OFG vision, mission and values.

Essential Criteria:

  • A recognised Psychotherapy/Counselling qualification/Allied Health Care Profession qualification/ Social Work Qualification
  • Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience of working with children, young people and/or adults
  • Demonstrable ability to complete clinical tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
  • Ability to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict
