£31,365-£35,000 (DOE)

We currently have an opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join Outcomes First Group as part of our expanding clinical wellbeing team. We are passionate about providing an excellent clinical service with therapists who care about driving and providing the best clinical outcomes.

 

About the role

The Speech and Language Therapy role is an exciting and specialist clinical role, covering multiple sites in a geographical region across residential care, education and fostering.  We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic clinician excited by working within times of transformative change.  The role is mainly based at at Acorn Park School, a unique 30-acre private estate, but will also support SALT provision across other sites within the East Anglia region, e.g., Bramfield School and Wetheringsett Manor.  Access to your own means of transport required.

 

The post-holder will work within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures and support the integration of their specific service in the day to day running of each provision i.e., standardised assessments and clinical services. A key aspect of the role will be to deliver informed interventions at a universal, enhanced and specialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our children, young peoples and adult’s needs in line with set Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

 

You will be part of a new and emerging multi-disciplinary team which came together over the last 6 months providing services of, but not limited to - Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational and Sensory Integration Therapy, Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, Therapy Assistants, and other appropriate professions as the allocated services require to meet the needs of children, young people and adults.  This role reports directly into our Clinical Well-Being Locality Lead who has a Speech and Language Therapist background.

 

The post is full time but part time options can be considered.

 

Essential Criteria

For this role we require applicants with:

  • Relevant Speech and Language Therapy qualifications and HCPC registration
  • Experience of post grad experience within the specialist client group
  • Experience of multi-professional work
  • Experience of teaching, training and clinical supervision
