Hours: 37.5 (Monday - Friday)

About Reddish Hall School

Reddish Hall is an independent SEMH school situated in Stockport. The aim of the school is to encourage children to achieve and succeed personally, academically, socially and develop their self confidence that will enable them to cope in everyday situations and manage the transition from school to college or work environments. By rebuilding self-esteem and forging positive relationships, our pupils replace failure with success.

About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Pastoral Support to join our close-knot team at Reddish Hall School in Greater Manchester.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with complex young people who have a needs ranging from autistic spectrum conditions to attachment difficulties and developmental trauma and be keen to help us develop our therapeutic approach towards helping our pupils achieve successful outcomes.

Who we are looking for

The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people on a 1-1 or group basis supporting them in and out of class. This is a demanding but highly rewarding role for a candidate that is supportive, proactive and wants to make a difference.

Essential Criteria

  • Positive communication and listening skills
  • Patience, tolerance and sensitivity
  • To have Maths and English at GCSE Grade C or equivalent
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Driving License
