Job Title:  Financial Accountant

Location: Bolton Office

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience (pro rata)

Contract: Full time, Fixed Term Contact (9 months)


About the Role

Following a period of significant expansion through growth and acquisition, we have an immediate requirement for two Financial Accountants on an interim basis.

The Financial Accountants will support the Head of Financial Reporting to meet external audit and statutory account filing deadlines, and liaise with external advisors to roll out existing VAT arrangements more widely across the Group.

You will perform accurate and timely financial accounting, tax accounting and compliance of the Group’s monthly and annual reporting obligations. The role will work closely with the external auditors and internal finance teams to deliver an efficient external audit process.

Due the ongoing expansion and growth of the Group, the role has a good possibility of becoming permanent in the future.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for some who can hit the ground running and is a Qualified Accountant – ideally ACA/ACCA with audit experience gained in practice. The Financial Accountant will have relevant financial accounting experience including a strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax principles. It would be advantageous if you have experience of preparing accounts and corporation tax returns for multiple companies.

You will be a strong, technical accountant that has the ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels to support with continued financial and procedural improvements.

The successful candidate will have advanced Excel skills and will be confident with system and analytical skills. Experience of Access Dimensions would be advantageous, though not essential.
