Job Title: Group Finance Manager

Location: Bolton Office

Contract Type: Maternity cover (12 months)

Hours: Part Time, 30 hours per week

Salary: up to £48,000 per annum (pro rata)

 

About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Group Finance Manager to join our team based in Bolton, to work 30 hours per week on a fixed term basis of 12 months.

The successful candidate provide effective financial control and accurate management information whilst working in co-operation with others in the Group Finance team.

The Group Finance Manager will provide the monthly financial results for the corporate cost centres to the Director of Financial Controls and Executive Team with comments on key variances to budget or forecast. You will consolidate, manipulate and present the data to produce meaningful trends and influence business outcomes.

You will also support our budget holders throughout the entire budget process and maintain a budget and forecast financial model to ensure consistency of data and process across all central cost centres.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for some who can hit the ground running and is an ACA/ ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant with relevant management accounting experience. The Finance Manager will have a proven ability to influence financial outcomes and work closely with operational managers. You’ll be in your comfort zone building relationships and communicating with people at all levels to drive continued financial and operational improvements.

The successful candidate will have advanced Excel skills and will be confident with data manipulation, analytical and presentation skills. Experience of Access Dimensions would be advantageous, though not essential.
