We are Options Autism, for 16 years we’ve been providing care for adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.  We currently have opportunities to join us as a Bank Support Worker.

 

This is a flexible role where you would be paid an hourly rate working shifts as agreed with the Manager.  The shifts are offered out to the Bank team and can include day shifts, night shifts, evenings or weekends as we operate a 24/7, 52 week service.  An ideal option for those looking to work around school hours as we have opportunities to support with our community activities during the day eg from 9.30am to 2.00pm.

 

Your shift preferences and diary availability would be discussed at interview.

 

About the role

 

We have 3 services all based in Holywell, Phoenix House, Pen Y Bryn and Ty Ni Cymru.  All homes provide a fantastic service to our residents, the team go above and beyond to make the environment homely, friendly and welcoming always focusing on the best possible care and outcomes.  Within commuting distance of Wrexham, Prestatyn and the Wirral.

 

Day to day duties are focused around providing high quality care and supporting our residents to develop independent life skills from; eg making a cup of tea to going swimming or getting involved in the local community.

Who are we looking for?

 

This role is ideal for those who have ad hoc availability to work maybe some days, nights, evenings or weekends but can’t currently commit to a permanent role with a fixed working pattern. No previous industry experience is required as we will provide full training and support which starts with a fantastic induction and continues when you are in post.
