Options Adult Autism Services North provides residential care and education to young people and adults with autism based from various sites across the North Lincolnshire region. We are in easy commute of Winterton, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Crowle, Gainsborough, Grimsby & Cleethorpes, Immingham, Killingholme, Hull, Hessle, and surrounding areas.
Options Autism is a national provider of specialist education, care and therapeutic services for children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We provide a person-centred approach to education and care, looking at the full needs of the individual and adapting our approach accordingly.
Job Summary & Duties:
As a Domestic Assistant, you will have responsibility for providing a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the centre. This role is based at Roxby House, Winterton Road, Roxby, North Lincolnshire, DN15 0BJ.
This role is offered at 15 hours per week working Monday to Friday – 3 hours per day. We can offer a working pattern of either 6am to 9am or 4pm to 7pm.
After a three week (Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm) paid induction period held at Roxby, DN15 0BJ, your duties will include:
- Cleaning all areas of the building to the highest standards
- Ensuring all equipment and chemicals are used and handled correctly at all times, working to COSHH regulations and Health and Safety Legislation
- Using all supplies correctly to minimise waste
- Reporting any defects, damage, theft, breakages, or hazards
Key Skills Required:
- Relevant experience of domestic cleaning, commercial cleaning an advantage although not essential
- Good knowledge of domestic duties including the use and storage of relevant products
- Organised and thorough, taking pride in your day to day work
- Able to commit to working on the agreed rota with a flexible approach
