Spotlight on New Staff Member

We’d like to welcome a new member of staff to the Outcomes First family!

Hillcrest Beachlands is an Ofsted Registered children’s home offering 52-week care and education placements to six young men, aged 12 to 18 yrs. It is located on Hayling Island, Hampshire and is within easy walking distance of a beautiful beach.

Jodie Parker is new Team Manager at the home. Jodie had this to say about her new role:
“Before Beachlands I worked for Two Saints supported lodgings, providing accommodation for young people across the east and west Hampshire. Prior to that I taught ICT at Highbury College for 8 years.

I have a daughter who is 16 years old, so have lots of experience in dealing with teenagers!

I have worked here at Beachlands for the last 7 months and am very much enjoying my new role. I plan on staying at Beachlands for the foreseeable future developing my skills through the excellent training opportunities that are available at Hillcrest Childrens Services.

My main aim is to make all the boys at Beachlands feel happy, confident and safe. Within this nurturing environment the boys will learn skills that will equip them for adult life.

I am looking forward to working with my team and fellow managers.”
