Two clients from West Sussex Supported Living recently enjoyed a holiday near Cheddar Gorge. David and Emma both chose Somerset but left the finer details to Senior Support Worker May Gahete who did a fabulous job of finding a resort and spa at Hoseasons in the beautiful and friendly village of Cheddar.
Although the weather wasn’t at its best, this didn’t stop Emma and David. They made the most of the resort facilities Swimming pool, sauna and steam room and after long leisurely walks enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub.
David loved the golf simulator and 10 pin bowling, although it was Emma who beat him! Cheddar Gorge was only 5 miles away from the resort. Even though the caves did not appeal to David and Emma, the restaurants and shopping most certainly did!
They had a great day trip to Weston Super Mere. Lots of laughs in the arcade and a very successful shopping trip“. David said he liked the hot tub, sauna and beer the best.
Emma enjoyed the gym and the swimming pool and after doing 18 lengths liked nothing better than to relax with her j20 and a strictly come dancing book.
When asked Emma said the best bit about the holiday was ‘all of it.’
