We are thrilled to confirm that we have received Accreditation from BILD for our new behaviour support programme.
This was achieved on the first attempt and we have received some really positive feedback from BILD on the quality of the submission.
Our new programme was developed in house by Home Manager Bret Noades and Learning and Development Manager Mandy Priestley, in conjunction with Anna Randal our Clinical Psychologist.
STTRIIDE ‘Support techniques and theory to reduce incidents and increase de-escalation effectiveness’ is a training programme for children’s services employees.
The theory focusses on child development and attachment, the impact of trauma and the house model of parenting. There is an emphasis on pro-active approaches, planning, de-escalation, re-attachment/ repairing the relationship and support to both the young people and the staff.
Trainers are currently being recruited and the programme will be rolled out in the Winter.
