Role: Residential Childcare Worker
Salary: £28,304.64 per annum (plus extra Sleep-in payments of £45.00 per night)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (47 hours per week)
Location: Hayling Island, Hampshire
Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
Welcome Bonus: £1,000 welcome bonus split between £500 after 1 month service and a further £500 after passing 6 months probation.

Our next Residential Childcare Worker will be someone who has:

Some of your duties would be as follows
- Supporting young people to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Undertaking household tasks
- Engage our young people in tasks and activities

Beachlands is a service equipped to provide a safe and secure environment for up to 6 children between the ages of 11-18 on admission, with complex social & emotional needs.
The accommodation is for individuals hoping for a long-term placement with a successful transition into adulthood and the wider community. We recognise the need for individuals in these critical developmental years to have opportunities to learn and develop through experiential learning.
Beachlands is located on Hayling Island, which is connected to the mainland by a bridge. It has over 3 miles of beaches right on the doorstep of the Solent and the Harbours of Langstone and Chichester. With its safe open spaces, fresh air and sheltered waters, Hayling Island has much to offer those that enjoy sports of all kinds, whether on land or at sea.
