Hillcrest Villa Farm situated in Staffordshire recently received the news it has retained its ‘Outstanding’ rating – an accolade it first gained in 2011.
Established by Hillcrest Children’s Services and part of Outcomes First Group, Hillcrest Villa Farm caters for children aged 6 to 13 with social, emotional and mental health needs.
The report stated that ‘the actions of the children’s home contribute to significantly improved outcomes and positive experiences for children and young people who need help, protection and care.’
Lorraine Gregory, Registered Manager stated: “I am incredibly proud of the whole team here for their continued hard work, dedication and enthusiasm in achieving Outstanding for the eighth time. We couldn’t do it without everyone supporting each other and working together positively for the children we support.”
The report stated that ‘Children make excellent progress because of the consistent, well-planned care that they receive’ and ‘staff have developed creative ways of helping children to think about what they want to achieve.’
Sam Millward, Head of Service commented: “We are able to achieve some brilliant outcomes for the children we support and it’s all down to the people who deliver our services. It’s great that their hard work has been recognised. Huge well done to them all”
